About Us
Our Mission
The March Forth With Hope Foundation provides financial assistance to families battling cancer or other life-threatening diseases. The Foundation was established by Stuart and Shelby Stout in memory of their daughter, Hope Stout, shortly after she lost her courageous fight with cancer.
Based in Matthews, NC, the March Forth With Hope Foundation is a fully accredited 501(C)3 trust and is fully compliant with all IRS regulations governing non-profit organizations.

Stuart Stout
Board Chairman
Stuart is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington with a degree in political science. He has been in the insurance industry for 30 years and is the president of the Stout Consulting Group, LLC, which specializes in wealth accumulation strategies and insurance planning. He and Shelby live in Weddington, NC and are the parents of daughters Austin and Holly and Hope Elizabeth Stout in whose memory the Foundation was created.
Shelby Stout
Board Vice Chair
Shelby is a graduate of Kings College with a degree in medical office assisting. She has been a pre-school teacher at Matthews United Methodist Church since 1993 and is also vice president of the Stout Consulting Group, LLC. She is the mother of daughters Austin and Holly and Hope Elizabeth Stout.
Jill Volz Weaver, CPA
Treasurer
Jill is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in accounting. She worked for KPMG Peat Marwick and then spent 7 years working in industry accounting management. Jill now works as the Business Manager of Digital Designs, Inc., a software development company, as well as operating her own accounting/tax sole proprietorship. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her daughter and son.
Kevin Donnalley
Director
Kevin is a former professional football player who spent 13 seasons in the NFL where he played with the Houston Oilers, Miami Dolphins, and the Carolina Panthers. Kevin has served on the March Forth With Hope Foundation board since its inception. He is also on the National Advisory Board for Make-A-Wish and is actively involved in the local Make-A-Wish chapter. Kevin and his wife, Erica, have three children and live in Charlotte, NC.
Molly Grantham
Director
Molly is an Emmy-award winning anchor and investigative reporter. She is the weekday anchor of WBTV's 5:30pm, 10:pm and 11:pm newscasts. Since graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Molly has worked in media in Raleigh-Durham, Lexington, Kentucky and Sydney, Australia. Molly met the Stout family soon after moving to Charlotte when Hope first made her wish in 2003. She and her husband live in Charlotte.
Jerry Gregory
Director
Jerry Gregory is a graduate of Fayetteville State University with a degree in business administration. He is also a Retired Captain Air Force Reserve where he served as an Air Transportation Officer. Jerry is the president of Jerry Gregory & Associates, an insurance firm specializing in employee benefits. He and his daughter live in Fayetteville, NC.
Keith Larson
Director
Keith is the host of “The Keith Larson Show” weekdays from 9am-12noon on WBT where he uses his show to talk about the issues that affect our lives. Keith also spent 10 years with McDonald's Corporation and 2 years as Senior Vice-President with one of McDonald's largest advertising agencies. A Chicago native, Keith now lives in Waxhaw, NC with his wife Nancy and their 2 daughters.
Dr. Mark Mogul, MD
Director
Dr. Mark Mogul, M.D. is a Brooklyn, NY native who was trained at Stanford University. He is Board Certified in Pediatric Hematology & Oncology and is the past Medical Director of the Presbyterian Blume Pediatric Hematology-Oncology clinic. He is currently the Associate Director of Cancer Services for Novant Health.
Tom Reeder
Director
Tom is a graduate of Western Carolina University and has been in the franchise business industry for over 20 years. Tom continues his franchise consulting work but is now a partner with The Business House, Inc. Tom also served on the national board of directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America and on the March Forth With Hope Foundation board since its inception. He and his wife Wendy have 4 children and live in Weddington, NC.
Lyndsey Stogdill
Director
Lyndsey Stogdill is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in Health and Sport Science. She is Manager of Corporate Events for Lowe’s Companies where she oversees the company’s events, corporate travel and branded apparel and promotional supplies programs. She lives in Huntersville with her daughter, Lacey Caroline.
Jim Shuback
Director
Jim is a graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA with a BA in Business Administration. Jim is an Account Executive for De Lage Landen Financial Services. He has served as a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Western North Carolina for the past 10 years holding positions of Charlotte area Volunteer Chair, Board Secretary, and Board Chair. He and his wife, Celeste, have two children and live in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Richard Zollinger, MD
Director
Rick Zollinger M.D. is an Ohio native who graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He is retired cardiothoracic surgeon who now is the Southeast Medical Director for Diversified Clinical Services, a national wound care company. Dr. Zollinger also serves on the Board of the UNC Children’s Hospital and UNC/Chapel Hill Board of Visitors. He and his wife Elizabeth live in Charlotte and have 4 children.
